Born: Detroit Rock City Jim Yatzek grew up in the suburbs of Detroit, but spent enough time in Windsor that he claims it as his second home. Jim started his music career as a drummer, then bass player/backing vocalist in several garage bands. He switched from bass to guitar, and eventually added lead vocals. After playing in several area groups, and experiencing moderate success locally, he turned down an offer to play in one of the areas top bands to pursue other interests. In various Detroit bands, Yatzek has performed at most of the top venues in the area, including: After several years moving around the country (Portsmouth NH, Lansing, MI, Orlando FL, Niagara Falls) he is back and better than ever. The first Yatzek CD release, Twisted Minds, is just a preview of what is still to come. New studio projects are currently in progress. Auditions for a touring group will begin soon.
